The NCRA 8U Developmental Baseball Program is designed to introduce young players to the fundamentals of baseball in a fun, supportive, and educational environment. This program focuses on skill development, teamwork, and a love for the game. Players will build a strong foundation in the basic techniques of baseball, including hitting, fielding, throwing, base running, and sportsmanship. The goal is to create a positive experience that promotes confidence, teamwork, and a lifelong passion for baseball.

Mission
The 8U Developmental Baseball Program is about building a love for the game and a solid
foundation in baseball skills, all while having fun and fostering a sense of camaraderie and
sportsmanship. Whether players are new to baseball or have some experience, this program is
designed to ensure they enjoy the process of learning, growing, and playing together as a team.
We look forward to a great season of fun and development on the field!
League Details
Season Duration: 12 weeks, including practices and games
Game Format: Coach-pitch or player-pitch (depending on skill level)
Practice Frequency: 2 practices per week (1-1.5 hours each)
Game Frequency: 1-2 games per week (typically scheduled on weeknights)
Bat Requirements: No barrel or drop requirements. Bats must be marked with the 1.15 BPF or USABAT certified.
